He majored in English and American literature, was an editor and wrote a column for The Harvard Crimson, and took classes at neighboring school MIT.

Although criminal charges were dismissed with prejudice,[10] in a related 2021 civil complaint filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Pulier consented to a judgment of $4.8 million in penalties.
