Eric Templeton Young (14 May 1892 – 28 June 1915) was a Scottish rugby union player and British Army officer who was killed in the Gallipoli campaign in World War I.
[1] Young was educated in Edinburgh at Cargilfield Preparatory School and Fettes College.
He had one cap for Scotland against England in March 1914, the final international game on British soil before the war began.
Two weeks after he arrived in Gallipoli, he was killed in the first day of the Battle of Gully Ravine.
