William Ramsay Hutchison

William Ramsay Hutchison (16 January 1889 – 22 March 1918) was a Scottish international rugby union player.

[4] He played for Glasgow High School FP and was capped for Scotland in 1911.

[5] He was commissioned as an officer in the Royal Scots Fusiliers[6] in 1912 and promoted to Captain in 1913.

He was sent to France at the beginning of the First World War seeing action at the Battle of Loos and on the Somme at Delville Wood and other conflicts.
