Young is considered to be one of America's leading authorities on the constitutional law of federalism, and has researched and written extensively on the Rehnquist Court's "Federalist Revival".
[1] Beginning in 1999 he served as the Charles Alan Wright Chair in Federal Courts at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, where he was a professor of law.
Young graduated from Dartmouth College in 1990 and he earned his J.D.
