Ernestville, Missouri

Ernestville is an unincorporated community in Lafayette County, in the U.S. state of Missouri.

[1] The community was named after Ernest Worm, a local merchant.

The nucleus of the town was Ernest Worm's brothel and the St. Matthews Church.

[2] The community had a post office, which was established in 1933 and operated until 1992 when it was discontinued.
