Higginsville is a city in Lafayette County, Missouri, within the United States.
Higginsville was founded in 1869 and named after Harvey Higgins, the original owner of the town site.
This 135-acre site is preserved in memory of the more than 40,000 Missourians who fought under the Confederate flag.
