Esraa Owis

Esraa Muhammed Samir Owis (Arabic: اسراء محمد سمير•عويس; born 15 October 1997) is an Egyptian track and field athlete who competes in the long jump and triple jump.

In 2022, she became the first woman from Egypt to win a silver medal in the long jump at the Mediterranean Games.

[1] Following ankle surgery and nine months of rehab,[2] Owis went on to compete at the 2022 African Championships in Athletics, where she won bronze in the long jump.

[3] She then become the first woman from Egypt to win a silver medal in the long jump at the Mediterranean Games in 2022.

Her personal best of 13.57 m in the triple jump set at the 2023 Arab Games is an Egyptian national record.
