Evelyn Andrus

She was the first woman to hold the position of president of the Toronto Camera Club.

Andrus was born in 1909 in Hamilton, Ontario She attended the University of Toronto.

[1] She was active in the Toronto Camera Club (TCC), specifically serving as the chair of the education program and teaching portrait classes.

She eventually became director for the Eastern Canada Zone for the PSA.

[1] She was the first Canadian woman to be made an associate of the RPS, with the recognition based on the quality of her color photography.
