Frederick Harmon Weight (July 1, 1887 – August 12, 1978)[1] was an American film director most prolific in the late silent film era of the 1920s.
[2] He directed many well-known performers such as George Arliss, Betty Compson, Myrna Loy and Rin-Tin-Tin.
[3][4][5][6] He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and began his career in the theater.
[7] He was the assistant director on 1916 film The Corner.
