The 44th FIS Nordic World Ski Championships is held from 26 February to 9 March 2025 in Trondheim, Norway.

The location was scheduled to be decided in May 2020 during the 52nd FIS Congress in Pattaya, Thailand, but was cancelled to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Granåsen Ski Centre, which was also used during Trondheim's hosting of the 1997 Championships, will be the main venue where the competitions will be held.

For the first time in the history of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships all cross-country events will be held at the same distance for both men and women.

The mass start + Normal Hill event will make its return as part of the women's program with a distance of 5 km.
