FK Hajduk Beograd

FK Hajduk Beograd (Serbian Cyrillic: ФК Хајдук Београд) is a football club based in Lion, Belgrade, Serbia.

[1] In the NATO bombing-suspended 1998–99 season, the club placed second and gained promotion to the First League of FR Yugoslavia.

However, they were immediately relegated back to the second tier, finishing 18th out of 21 teams in their debut season in the top flight.

[2] They finished bottom of the table in their comeback appearance in the top flight, but were administratively relegated to the third tier.

In the 2008–09 Serbian Cup, the club surprisingly reached the quarter-finals, being eliminated by Partizan.
