Fanchengdui (Chinese: 樊城堆) is an archaeological site located in Zhangshu city in the province of Jiangxi, China.
The river Meng flows through the south part of the Shinianshan site roughly from northwest to southeast, before entering a primary tributary of Gan, Yuanshui.
[2] Fanchengdui is a typical Bronze Age site of the area, which can be divided into seven cultural layers.
In the fourth and fifth levels, a small amount of hard pottery demonstrates that the site belongs to the Bronze Age.
A large amount of sand-tempered ding shaped like shallow plates was unearthed from the site.
