Abadi was born in Västervik to Palestinian refugee parents who had arrived from Lebanon.
She then made her television debut when she presented the kids summer show Sommarlov, broadcast on SVT, along with Malin Olsson, Rijal Mbamba [sv] and Alexander Hermansson.
[10] Between February and March 2022, she co-hosted Melodifestivalen (the Swedish national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest) alongside Oscar Zia.
[12] Abadi was the spokesperson for Sweden announcing the Swedish jury result in the final of Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on 13 May.
[13] She co-hosted the semi-final allocation draw for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 that took place on 30 January.
