In contrast, the ceiling in the apse is original, dating from the time of the construction of the church.
[1][2] The operetta singer Sonja Stjernquist [sv] (1931–2002) is buried in the cemetery of the church.
The apse wall displays Christ in Majesty surrounded by scenes from the Bible.
Elsewhere in the church, fragments of paintings exist on the ground floor of the tower, including a possible depiction of Saint Catherine.
[1][2] A number of medieval wooden sculptures originally in Farstorp Church are today in the historical museum of Lund University, as well as an altar bell from 1586.
