Fathia Absie (Somali: Fadxiya Cabsiiye, Arabic: فتحية إبسيآ) is a Somali-American writer, producer, actor and filmmaker.
She has worked for a number of organizations, including the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services in Columbus, Ohio, the University of Washington in Seattle, and Voice of America in Washington D.C.[1][2] Absie stars in her own film, The Lobby, about a relationship between a white man and a Somali-American woman.
