Faustino Oro (born October 14, 2013) is an Argentine chess prodigy.
[1][2] In 2023, when he was nine, he received a rating of 2300 (classical), becoming the youngest chess player to have done so at the time.
[5][6][7][8][9] He was also the youngest player to attain a norm for the IM title.
[3][12][13] He holds the world record for the youngest International Master, a title which he earned in June 2024 at the age of 10 years, 8 months, and 16 days, breaking the record of Abhimanyu Mishra.
