[3] After graduating from the institute in 1951, Samedova received a diploma in chemical engineering and continued her studies in 1951-1955 as a postgraduate student at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
[4] In 1956, she defended her dissertation on "The effect of the chemical composition of oils on their performance properties" and received the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
[5] From 1960 to 1981, Samadova worked in the laboratory "Chemistry and Technology of Oils" of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Petrochemical Processes named after M. Aliyev as a senior researcher.
[4] Samadova was repeatedly elected a member of Academic Councils and Specialized Scientific Commissions, both in Azerbaijan and outside the country.
[2] In 2012, Samadova was awarded the title of Honorary Scientist of Europe and Alexander von Humboldt Medal.
