Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to people in developing nations.
[1] Richard Proudfit, a Minneapolis business man and philanthropist, founded the organization after visiting Honduras after a hurricane.
Proudfit risked his life in war zones around the world to feed starving children.
[3] FMSC has eight packing facilities: three in Minnesota (Coon Rapids, Eagan and Chanhassen), three in Illinois (Aurora, Libertyville and Schaumburg), one in Richardson, Texas, and one in Tempe, Arizona.
Selling these items provides those artisans with a fair wage, and the profits go towards funding more meals for children around the world.
