On the album, Ragin is joined by saxophonist Assif Tsahar, pianist Craig Taborn, bassist Jaribu Shahid, and drummer Tani Tabbal.

They also praised the rhythm section's "reliable inventiveness... a highly reactive and sometimes split-second empathy with Ragin's ideas.
