Ferdinand Schureman Schenck

Ferdinand Schureman Schenck (February 11, 1790 – May 16, 1860) was an American physician and politician who represented New Jersey in the United States House of Representatives for two terms from 1833 to 1837.

Ferdinand Schureman Schenck was born on February 11, 1790, in Millstone, New Jersey.

[1] Schenck was a member of the New Jersey General Assembly 1829–1831.

[1] He later served as a trustee of Rutgers College, New Brunswick, New Jersey, from 1841 to 1860.

He was buried in a private cemetery at Pleasant Plains, New Jersey.
