Fernando Coimbra (born 1976) is a Brazilian filmmaker best known for directing A Wolf at the Door (2013)[1] and Sand Castle (2017).

[3] A Wolf at the Door garnered Coimbra a nomination for Outstanding Directing – First-Time Feature Film at the 2015 Directors Guild of America Awards.

[5] Coimbra co-directed the 2015 documentary Aqui Deste Lugar with Sergio Machado.

He co-directed the 2017 Brazilian HBO series O Honem da Sua Vida with Daniel Rezende.

[7] Sand Castle, Coimbra's Iraq War drama starring Nicholas Hoult and Henry Cavill, was released on Netflix in 2017.
