Ferndale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lake County, Florida, United States.

Ferndale is located in southeastern Lake County and is bordered to the west by the city of Minneola, to the southeast by the town of Montverde, and to the northeast by Lake Apopka.

There were 91 housing units at an average density of 33.3 per square mile (12.9/km2).

10.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
