Sorrento is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Lake County, Florida, United States.

Sorrento is located in eastern Lake County and is bordered to the east by Mount Plymouth.

Florida State Road 46 passes through Sorrento, leading west 5 miles (8 km) to Mount Dora and east 19 miles (31 km) to Sanford.

18.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
