[1] He was born in Biro, Diocese of Mahenge, Ulanga District, Morogoro Region, Tanzania, on 30 November 1970.
In 1993 he entered the Our Lady of the Angels Major Seminary at Kibosho, Moshi Diocese, to study Philosophy.
He also holds a degree of Master of Philosophy awarded by Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, having studied there from 2005 until 2009.
[1][2] As a priest, he served in various roles including as:[2] On 8 December 2018 the Holy Father Francis appointed him Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Tunduru-Masasi, Tanzania.
He was consecrated and installed at the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, at Tunduru, Diocese of Tunduru-Masasi on 17 February 2019.
