Fincastle is a home rule-class city in eastern Jefferson County, Kentucky, United States.

According to the city's website, the name "is a historical relic from the formation of Kentucky County, Virginia.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Fincastle has a total area of 0.21 square miles (0.55 km2), all land.

13.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

Stacey Ricci, Gene Harris, Kenneth Howson and Jerry Gregory serve as City Commissioners.

Nathan Lindemyer serves as Treasurer, and the City Attorney is Michael Lawrence.
