Fishersville, Virginia

Fishersville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Augusta County, Virginia, United States.

[1] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 13.1 square miles (34.0 km2), of which, 13.1 square miles (34.0 km2) of it is land and 0.08% is water.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 4,998 people, 1,826 households, and 1,433 families residing in the CDP.

19.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

[7] The Tinkling Spring area is the site of Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church, founded in 1740,[8] and served by pastor Robert Lewis Dabney from 1852–1857.
