Flasby

The population of the civil parish was estimated at 80 in 2012,[2] measured at 207 in the 2011 Census.

[4] Flasby with Winterburn was a township in the ancient parish of Gargrave in Staincliffe Wapentake in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

[5] It became a separate civil parish in 1866,[6] and was transferred to the new county of North Yorkshire in 1974.

Flasby Hall is a large house built in 1843–44 and a Grade II listed building.

[8] Freddie Trueman, the Yorkshire cricketer, lived in the village for many years.
