Flemington, Georgia

Flemington is a city in Liberty County, Georgia, United States.

It is a part of the Hinesville-Fort Stewart metropolitan statistical area.

A post office called Flemington was established in 1889, and remained in operation until 1966.

[4] The community was named after William Fleming, a pioneer settler.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Flemington has a total area of 4.7 square miles (12.3 km2), of which 0.86 acres (3,485 m2), or 0.03%, are water.
