Flora Township, Renville County, Minnesota

Flora Township was organized in 1867, and named after a local horse.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 245 people, 83 households, and 73 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 90.61% White, 1.22% Asian, 8.16% from other races.

7.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 2.4% of families and 5.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 2.2% of those under the age of eighteen and 8.0% of those 65 or over.
