Florence Ayisi

Florence Ayisi (born in on 22 July 1962) is a filmmaker from Cameroon.

In 1989 she earned a MA in theatre and media production from the University of Hull and, in 1992, she earned an MA in film production from the Northern School of Film and Television at Leeds Metropolitan University.

[citation needed] Since 2000 she has taught film at the University of South Wales.

In 2005, she released Sisters in Law which went on to win multiple awards including the Prix Art et Essai award at the Cannes Film Festival and a Peabody.
