Fominoben is an antitussive agent of the benzanilide class, formerly marketed under the name Noleptan.

[6] Adverse effects include appetite suppression, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, irritability, and hallucinations.

Rarer side effects include somnolence, dizziness, dry mouth, blurred vision, and urticaria.
