Foster, Nebraska

Foster is a village in Pierce County, Nebraska, United States.

A post office was established in Foster in 1886, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 2002.

[4] The community was named for George Foster, an original owner of the town site.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.22 square miles (0.57 km2), all land.

34.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were no families and 5.4% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 25.0% of those over 64.
