With a 20–68 record, Fostoria placed sixth under managers John Cavanaugh, Red Jenkins (twice), Rex Bowen and Harry Aldrick.
Managed by Bobby Jones, Fostoria ended the season with a 44–73 record, finishing 40.0 games behind the first place Lima Pandas.

Redbird Park was located on the southwest side of town at the southeast corner of the intersection of Findlay and Lytle streets, and Independence Ave.[29] The ballpark was demolished sometime around 1944.
