France–Kazakhstan relations

[1] In September 1993, French President François Mitterrand paid an official visit to Kazakhstan.

[3] In 2010, the two countries created a Franco-Kazakh Presidential Commission, which takes the form of an annual meeting between the two Heads of State.

France is Kazakhstan's third largest investor, and has invested nearly US$10 billion in the Kazakh economy.
