Frances Corner

Frances Marie Corner, OBE, FRSA (née Agnew; born 25 February 1959) is a British art and design historian and academic, specialising in fashion.

[1][2][3] Corner received her BA at Central Saint Martins and her MA from the Chelsea School of Art.

Through 2024, a focus of her administration was reducing costs by eliminating faculty and staff positions.

The cuts were opposed by the Goldsmiths University and College Union (UCU) and students.

[1] In the 2009 Queen's Birthday Honours, Corner was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to the fashion industry.
