He was born in Clapham in what was then Surrey in 1867 and died in Los Angeles, California in 1955.
[1][2] Huish played as a bowler who appeared in five first-class matches.
[1] He made his first-class debut for Kent at Maidstone against Oxford University in June 1895 before going on to play in four County Championship matches for the county during July.
[4] Huish's younger brother, Fred Huish, also made his first-class debut for Kent in June 1895[5] before going on to make over 450 first-class appearances for the county, making his final appearance in 1914.
He is regarded as "one of the ablest and least demonstrative wicket-keepers of his generation"[6] and remains the record holder for most dismissals in a career for Kent.
