Francis Stewart Boyce

[1] He was born in Rockley to Francis Bertie Boyce and Caroline Stewart.

In 1923 he was appointed to the New South Wales Legislative Council as a Nationalist.

He took silk in 1924, the year in which he was appointed a minister without portfolio in the government.

He held that position until 1925, and from 1927 to 1930 served as Attorney-General and Vice-President of the Executive Council.

He resigned from the Council in 1932 to take up an appointment as a judge in divorce on the New South Wales Supreme Court.
