Frank Kristufek

Frank Charles Kristufek (December 12, 1915 – June 16, 1998) was an American football player.

A native of McKees Rock, Pennsylvania, Kristufek attended Mckeesport High School and played college football for Pittsburgh in 1938 and 1939.

[1] He suffered from poor eyesight that made it difficult for him to see the ball-carrier soon enough to make tackles.

His weak eyes also prevented him from serving in the military during World War II.

[5] Kristufek and his wife, Helen, had four children: William, Carol, Ruth, and Christopher.
