Frank Talia

Francesco "Frank" Talia (born 20 July 1972 in Melbourne) is an Australian former professional soccer goalkeeper, who last played for Wycombe Wanderers in Football League Two.

Although he was at the club for three years, Talia did not make any first-team appearances for Blackburn and following this he moved to Swindon Town in September 1995 after a loan spell at Hartlepool United.

He made several appearances as a non-playing substitute, the last at Wembley Stadium in August 1995 when he watched from the bench as Blackburn (Premier League champions) were beaten 1-0 by Everton in the FA Charity Shield.

In March 2002, Talia signed a short-term contract with English Division 2 side Reading,[2] sitting on the bench for the final six games of the season.

Talia then made over 100 appearances for the club, despite being sidelined when he sliced his toe with a lawn-mower in 2004 [4] and a knee injury that side-lined him for six months in August 2006,.
