Franz Aurenhammer (born September 25, 1957) is an Austrian computational geometer known for his research in computational geometry on Voronoi diagrams, straight skeletons, and related structures.
He is a professor in the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science of Graz University of Technology.
[1] Aurenhammer earned a diploma in technical mathematics from Graz University of Technology in 1982, and completed his doctorate there in 1984 and his habilitation in 1989.
