Fred I. Lamson

Lamson was born on December 11, 1910, in Stonington, Maine.

[1] In 1934 he opened Lamson and Davis Hardware with his father-in-law.

He then served as an Alderman until 1943 when he unsuccessfully challenged incumbent John D. McCarthy for the mayoralty.

[1] From 1953 to 1973, Lamson represented the 4th Middlesex District in the Massachusetts Senate.

[2] Lamson died on December 24, 1981, in Malden Hospital.
