Frederick Buckley Newell (11 March 1890 - 12 August 1979) was an American bishop of The Methodist Church, elected in 1952.
He earned his Bachelor of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York also in 1916.
Frederick was ordained deacon in the New York East Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1917.
He served as the pastor of the People's Home Church and Settlement, New York City (1917–20).
His body was committed August 16, 1979, in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hartford, Connecticut.
