[citation needed] Graduates of Early College at FCC will earn an associate degree and high school diploma simultaneously by attending FCC full-time during their junior and senior years.

The program was created to increase participation and completion of students from populations historically underrepresented in higher education, and is open to all FCPS high school students.

[1][4] FCC offers Letters of Recognition, a Certificate, and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Emergency Management supported by FEMA's Emergency Management Institute Independent Study courses.

[6] The athletic department offers eight intercollegiate sports including men's baseball, basketball, golf and soccer and women's basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer.
