Fredrik August Dahlgren

Fredrik August Dahlgren (20 September 1816 – 16 February 1895) was a Swedish writer, playwright and songwriter.

He was the son of Barthold Dahlgren, the manager of the mines at Taberg, and Anna Carolina Svensson.

In 1874, Dahlgren became Acting Head of the Office for Health and Poverty Affairs and Chancellor in 1878.

He wrote the lyrics for the Värmland folk song "Jänta å ja".
