Friedrich Stickler (born 18 April 1949, in Vienna) is an Austrian manager and football administrator.
Stickler is the former president of Austrian Football Association[1] and Organising Committee for the FIFA Club World Cup.
[4] In his tenure as president of the Austrian Football Association, he was responsible for the successful bid, along with Switzerland, to host the UEFA Euro 2008 After completing his studies at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna, Stickler worked for Casinos Austria.
In 2015, Stickler was elected to the executive committee of the Global Lottery Monitoring System (GLMS) for sports betting.
In 2002, he succeeded as ÖFB president, along with his Swiss colleague, to bring the UEFA Euro 2008 to Austria and Switzerland.
