Friendsville, Pennsylvania

Friendsville is a borough in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, United States.

[3] Friendsville was founded in 1819, and named for the fact a large share of the first settlers were Quakers.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km2), all land.

There were 54 housing units at an average density of 36 per square mile (14/km2).

The racial makeup of the borough was 91.9% White, 6.3% Black, and 1.8% Native American.

There were 9.4% of families and 6.8% of the population living below the poverty line, including 9.4% of under eighteens and none of those over 64.
