Francis Daniel Barzilauskas (June 13, 1920 – November 30, 1990) was an American professional football guard who played four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Boston Yanks/New York Bulldogs and New York Giants.
[1] His football career was interrupted by a stint in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II.
[1] He was named first-team All-Eastern by the Associated Press and International News Service his senior year in 1946.
[4] Barzilauskas was selected by the Boston Yanks in the first round, with the third overall pick, of the 1947 NFL draft.
[6] He appeared in all 12 games, starting ten, for the newly-renamed New York Bulldogs in 1949 and recovered one fumble.
