Since 2020, he has been a project manager of the Entry/Exit System at the Liechtenstein immigration office in Vaduz.

[1] From 1995 to 2000 Vogt was president of the Liechtenstein IT office and automation section, and from 2000 to 2002 he was a member of the UEAPME.

[1][2] From 2017 to 2021 he was head of the Liechtenstein delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

[1] He resigned from this position due to professional reasons and was succeeded by Manfred Kaufmann.

[4] Vogt married Manuela Hoch (born 21 July 1962) on 8 May 1991 and they have two children together.
