Gabriel Omar Camarillo[2] (born August 25, 1976) is an American attorney who had served as the 35th under secretary of the Army in the Biden administration.
[3] He previously served as Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Manpower & Reserve Affairs) from 2015 to 2017 during the Obama administration.
Camarillo earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School in 2002.
He was an associate at the Sutton Law Firm in San Francisco from 2004 to 2009 and at the Kaufman Legal Group in Los Angeles from 2009 to 2010.
From December 15, 2015, to January 22, 2017, he served as assistant secretary of the Air Force (manpower & reserve affairs).
