There have been two baronetcies created for persons with the surname Garrard, both in the Baronetage of England.
[1] He was the son of Sir John Garrard, Lord Mayor of London in 1601, and grandson of Sir William Garrard, Lord Mayor of London in 1555.
The fourth and sixth Baronets also sat as Members of Parliament for Amersham.
The Garrard Baronetcy, of Langford in the County of Norfolk, was created in the Baronetage of England on 16 August 1662 for Sir Jacob Garrard, a wealthy London merchant.
[2] He was the son of Thomas Garrard, Sheriff of the City of London.
